The art and the mess.

Once long ago I visited my mothers office and was deeply enthralled by a notice board right above her desk. In the dreary basement of an otherwise dull grey tube lit office building, the board was a cheery, colorful aesthetic; a montage of pictures and quotes, of reminders and information, of certificates and stories. It was engaging and fascinating and I still have a mental picture of it at the back of my head. 
Among all the paraphernalia was a poster that I cannot forget and that has become the premise of all my endeavors and the unchallenged label to all my efforts.
It is what my chosen brand name of  CreativeMess derives from:
                                        
                                                ‘A creative mess is always better than tidy idleness!’ 

It is what Spurs me on to collect articles with a visualization of their unconventional uses, it is what encourages me to clutter and create, it is what breaks the bane of convention with novel ideas and adds an aesthetic to daily mundanity.

It has also helped me get away with carpet paint spills and I will ensure that it will be the excuse for similar crafty accidents for anyone engrossed in the process.
